Dear all,
First of all, I apologize on behalf of the Sec Pastors for this late notice of the cell based outreach. We were really struggling with some of the planning especially since our segment is very big.
To coincide with YES on 16th of FEB, the youth division want each of the cells to plan their own outreach event before YES or on the day of YES itself.
The main goal is invite newcomers to mingle with the cell people in a non-threatening environment, share Christ or testimonies with them, pray and bless them during this outreach and also use this opportunity to invite them to YES.
The cell is free to plan their own event with a budget of $50 subsidized by church. If more amount is needed, the cell members will have to fork out the balance amount.
You can choose either to have a theme like CNY or Valentine's Day and suggested ideas are screening of movies at someone's house, playing sports games, bowling, food outings, CNY gatherings etc. Please discuss with your members and allow for ideas to flow.
If you so decide to combine with another cell, you may do so but try not to have too many cells doing this altogether.I know that some of you have already started engaging and challenging your cell to reach out.
I am truely blessed by the initatives taken by all of you. Our Sec 1s are definitely NOT TOO young to reach out to their friends. I know that for some of you who attended the Ignite Conference, you have been deeply inspired and would like to inspire your members too to reach out in their school...
Let's continue to fan the flame adn I believe God is going to do show us His Heart in this...
