iCamp

Hi Everyone!

iCamp sign up has officially closed. I’ve received feedback from leaders and members alike that the sign up period is very short. I apologize that we’ve to fix such an early closing date. In light of the camp being in the March school holidays, which is coming really soon, the camp com will need to have the sign ups earlier to ensure that we have sufficient time to prepare for the camp. With the short sign up period, we’ll need your every help to remind your members to sign up early. We’re extending the sign up for the camp by one more week till 24 Feb. (any later we’ll really run into problems for organizingJ). Attached is the sign up form. Please forward it to your members if they’ve yet to have a copy. They’ll need their parents’ signature and the full payment when signing up this weekend.

iCamp will be a time where we seek to instill in every of our young people the reality of God’s presence and power in their lives, as they learnt to relate to God and live their lives in sync with their identity as sons and daughters of our Most High God. Through our sharing and ministry times, and times of just engaging in games and activities with other youths, we seek to present not just another fun camp, but one which our youths can leave camp knowing that they’ve encountered God. As such, we’ll really appreciate for everyone in this leadership team, across the board from secondary to campus segment leaders, to uphold the camp in prayer. For at the end of the day, after all the planning and rara-ing, it’s God Himself who makes the difference.

Also at this point, once again, the invitation for camp is open to other members of our ministry, even though the target group is primarily for secondary segment youths. Having the older brothers and sisters in Christ with our younger youths is definitely a booster for us as they’re more mature and can support the camp in many ways. Hence, if you belong to the older segments, and either yourself or your members feel that you want to become a part of the camp, you’re definitely welcome to sign up!

Running the Race,
Peter Tan
